What is Youth Movement?

Our youth movement program is designed to introduce children of all ages to the joy of physical movement in a fun, safe, and structured gym environment. From parent-assisted exploration for toddlers to beginner ninja and parkour skills for kids up to age eight, each level is thoughtfully tailored to the developmental needs of the child — building gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and confidence every step of the way.


With age-appropriate obstacles, expert coaching, and a progression-based curriculum, our program gives young athletes the foundational movement skills they need to thrive in sport and in life, while laying the groundwork for continued growth in our ninja and parkour programs.

Toddlers

Curriculum Overview:


Parent & child exploration through guided play

  • Parent-assisted movement in a safe, supervised environment
  • Sensory exploration through crawling, climbing, and rolling
  • Soft obstacle courses designed for little bodies
  • Gross motor skill development through structured play
  • Building early body awareness, balance, and coordination

Curriculum Overview:


Playful movement with structured skill-building

  • Introduction to jumping, landing, and basic balance skills
  • Age-appropriate obstacle courses with coach guidance
  • Crawling tunnels, foam pits, balance beams, and low walls
  • Listening, following directions, and taking turns
  • Developing strength, flexibility, and spatial awareness
  • Building a love of movement in a fun, encouraging atmosphere

Youth Movement Ages 5-8

Curriculum Overview:


Foundational ninja and parkour skills for growing athletes

  • Beginner ninja obstacles: balance beams, rope climbs, and box jumps
  • Introduction to fundamental parkour movements and vaulting
  • Full obstacle course runs with progressive challenge levels
  • Strength and agility conditioning scaled for young athletes
  • Goal-setting, perseverance, and overcoming challenges
  • A structured path to transition into Ninja 1 or Parkour 1 classes
